From Unused to Unforgettable

We transformed two previously underutilized spaces, the family room and the porch, into one cohesive gathering space designed for connection and celebration.

The goal was to make both areas feel purposeful, inviting, and seamlessly integrated. By removing a wall, we opened the layout and created a single, multi-functional environment perfect for relaxing, hosting, and everyday living.

The family room was reimagined as a warm, welcoming space anchored by an oversized sectional designed for comfort and conversation and is now a space where the family can come together. We clad the existing barrel-vaulted ceiling in handmade tile, elevating a subtle architectural detail into a striking focal point. A custom-paneled wall added refinement while cleverly concealing utility access, blending beauty with everyday function.

The adjacent porch became a year-round sunroom crafted for entertaining. A new fireplace extends its use through every season, while a custom bar with a handmade tile backsplash brings character and richness. Moroccan floor tiles introduce pattern, texture, and warmth, grounding the room with personality.

Together, the two spaces now flow effortlessly—a true central gathering place for connection, comfort, and joyful moments. A space that celebrates the family who calls it home.
