Senior Interior Designer
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of professional interior design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing residential and commercial projects
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field; professional certification (NCIDQ) preferred
- Expert knowledge of design principles, space planning, color theory, and material selection
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering software
- Strong understanding of building codes, ADA compliance, and construction documentation
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design concepts to clients and contractors
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- A collaborative mindset and passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces
What You'll Do
- Lead design projects from concept through completion, including space planning, material selection, and furniture specification
- Develop comprehensive design presentations, mood boards, and 3D renderings for client approval
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution
- Conduct site visits and field measurements to inform design decisions
- Prepare detailed construction documents, specifications, and finish schedules
- Manage project budgets and timelines while maintaining the highest design standards
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to the creative direction of the studio
- Stay current with design trends, materials, and industry best practices
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and design excellence
